theatre drinks?

Just a quick question, are you allowed to take drinks into the theatre? and also can you drink in the theatre, ie is there waiter service available?

There is only waiter/drinks service on the Armonia and sinfonia in the theatre. These older ships have a different seat configuring with long sofas, tables and then seats that face the stage but can swivel round to face the sofas and tables.

 

The rest of the fleet doesn't have a drinks service in their theatres. You may be able to go in with a drink, but there is nowhere to put it down other than the floor and they don't encourage this. Shows only last 40 minutes anyway, so not long to do without a drink.

Just got off today and yes....you can take drinks in with you. We asked because we thought we couldn't and they said "no problem".

Thanks for the quick response folks, helps a lot, not that we cant go without a drink for 40 minutes, but to take one in after dinner. Cheers, Dave.;)

We saw some people bringing drinks in the theater on some nights and saw some people turned away on other nights....As a moderate beer drinker....no big deal either way!
