Price Policy - From UK however sailing from US

Hi All,

 

First time poster, long time lurker!

 

We booked a cruise for August 2015 onboard the FOS for our honeymoon a couple of months back.

 

We've booked ourselves into a D2 Superior Balcony room however I noticed yesterday that the price has fallen by around £150.

 

Would I be able to just phone up and ask for the new price to be honoured?

 

I've read about the price policy on here before however could not find a definitive answer.

 

Should they reduce the amount would my price then be "locked" so I wouldn't be eligible for any future price drops should they occur?

Hi,

 

If you've booked with RCI uk or a TA in uk chances aren't good. We used to frequently get price drops with no problem up till about 2 years ago but not recently. No harm in asking though - you never know.

I booked directly with RC so not sure if that makes a difference.

We have always managed to get our price drops honoured too! Sometimes you need to speak to more than one person. If you don't get the answer you want first time, then go higher. :)

Just spoke to RC and they have honoured the price drop so we now have a £200 saving!

 

it's gone through as a "May Discount" so I hope if there is a further drop we will be able to go even lower!
