HHI Cruiser Posted August 1, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2005 Can anyone give us information regarding transportation from Port to town. How far is it? Are taxis available? Is there bus service?
drwong Posted August 1, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 1, 2005 This question has been discussed pretty extensively on the Cruise Critic Europe board: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=119135 http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=159104 And earlier on the Oceania board: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=16887 Oceania doesn't provide shuttle service to the train station, but there is a private shuttle operator whose buses leave from the cruise ship terminal every 15 minutes or so - you can buy round-trip tickets from a lady at a card table inside the terminal. If you're unsure, just follow members of the ship's crew who use the same inexpensive shuttle.

Zimmy Posted August 1, 2005 #4 Share Posted August 1, 2005 Last summer we made advance arrangements with Brugges Taxi Company to pick us up at the port at a specified time. Then we told the taxi driver what time to pick us up in town to bring us back to the ship. I don't remember the web site for the taxi company, but you can google them.
