turtle cove excursion review??

I haven't seen any reviews on it but we signed up for it for the Navigator cruise leaving Galveston on 6/1. It will be myself, my mother and my 12 year old daughter. I sure hope we see some turtles. :)

Do you go to the mainland for this? If so, you are probably going to Akumal and you will most likely see a lot of turtles...beware, it will be a long day of travel. Ferry to mainland, bus to Akumal (about 30 minutes), then bus back to Ferry and cruise back to Cozumel.

 

It should be easy, but if you get seasick, the ferry can sometimes be rough. I don't know of a "turtle cove" so to speak on Cozumel, but not sure.
