price for early flights

hi does anyone knpw the reason why the price of an early morning flight has been increased to £700 !!! we usualy pay about £60/70 for early flight, but my oh was quoted this price on top of cruise price, the TA said she couldnt understand it, and had no explanation, the flight was 7,55am on 7th june from Manchester to Palma, so now going on the 13.45pm. dont know who to ask about the increase, any ideas. many thanks x

I would imagine the early flights are more popular since you get the benefit of a half day in Palma if you want to go into the city so they charge more for the privilege. (I think you get an early flight home at the end of your holiday too which most people prefer that than hanging around on the last day.)

 

The fact that the price has gone up so much probably means that flight is filling up and there aren't many seats left. If you want one badly enough then you'll have to pay! But that is really excessive! That would pay for another week's cruise! :eek:

Just priced that flight on the flight only part of Thomson's site and it was coming to £200 more each for the early flight compared to the 13:45. Don't understand the huge difference in the quote you were given by the TA.
