dogchopper Posted May 10, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 10, 2014 I have a cruise booked in the Paradise in June. We booked with the early saver and as of now have $360.00 in OBC !!! way cool!! BUT, we already have our excursions booked (captain Marvin's stingray snorkel and a day on a private beach in Mexico) so what on earth can I use the OBC on?? I plan to use it to pay for the gratuities, but that still leaves a big chunk of money to spend. Should I cancel Captain Marvin's and use carnival for that instead??? I know, I know, this is a rough problem to have :D
mawmawmaw123 Posted May 10, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 10, 2014 On drinks and photos and things from the gift shop. Or a visit to a specialty restaurant. If you still can't figure out how to spend it you can always give it to me...

TMS MT Posted May 10, 2014 #4 Share Posted May 10, 2014 We were able to download money onto a slot machine in the casino and the charge went to our account, and our onboard credit covered it. There was no fee to do that. Not sure if that works on all ships or with all types of on-board credit but it may be an option.

Jenhem31 Posted May 10, 2014 #6 Share Posted May 10, 2014 I was on the Paradise a couple weeks ago. There are no specialty restaurants. I would say use it toward photos, a couple of souvenir beach towels, and the bar! Sent from my iPhone using Forums

SkyMaster Posted May 10, 2014 #9 Share Posted May 10, 2014 Just off "Paradise", and no, there is no specialty restaurant. They do, however, offer the "Chefs Table", which is considerably better, but also, considerably higher in price. Keep in mind that if you don't spend all of your OBC, you can always do what I did, and stop by the casino, find a nice slot machine. Insert your sign-n-sail card and download whatever the amount left on your OBC is, pull off a buck or two, then cash out at the cashiers window. NO PROBLEM! Sure beats giving it back to 'em, or even waiting for them to mail you a check if it happened to be refundable. I had a FANTASTIC time aboard "Paradise", and know you'll enjoy that cruise too. JohnSpo Posted May 10, 2014 #10 Share Posted May 10, 2014 All ships do offer the Chef's table at $75 per person. It includes a champagne reception, galley tour, fine dining dinner and wine. Also look out for the martini sampling and the wine pairing. I will be on Paradise next week and I will be looking out for these events because I also have some OBC to burn. Enjoy Paradise!

Some people knock her because she is a smaller/older ship. I was on her sister ship Ecstasy last year and it was a great cruise. I am hoping for a similar experience.
