San Juan ATM's

Staying in SJ 2 days pre and post cruise. Wondering about the ATM's--It is part of USA so are there ATM's from our major banks? Fees? Locations? Thanks

I have never used the ATM's in San Juan but I have seen them and yes there are banks that are on the networks for major banks. Check your bank and see where ATM's are in San Juan etc. The other option is to have enough cash on hand for pre stay.... then when on the ship you can use your sail and sign card in the casino like a free atm.... just load some money onto your card at a slot machine... play a few spins then cash it out tada cash with no ATM fees.

Most Hotels have ATM's. Since you are staying at one, you should find one at the hotel. Just like where you live, in the USA, ATM's are widespread. Those at banks are usually cheaper to use. Those at a mini market the most expensive. If your bank has an office in PR, than you would be in luck since many banks do not charge fees. Also on the ship, you should find an ATM, and at the ports, airport etc. Does it really matter what the fee is? After all, you are not home, and you just ran out of money so you will pay what ever the price is! (been there, done that)

It will be cheaper to use the ATMs at banks in San Juan than on the ship.

Lots of atms in san juan I would suggest to go to a local bank branch like Popular or FirstBank instead of a hotel atm cause they will charge more (like $2.75 or up to $5)
