Luci lu Posted May 14, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2014 Hi Everyone, I know about MUTS, but is there a movie theatre on the Grand? If so, is there a way to find out what movies will be shown during our cruise (5/25-6/1)? Thanks!
gcvt Posted May 14, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 14, 2014 In addition to MUTS, they do show afternoon movies in the main theater. Not sure if there's a way to find out what they'll be showing in advance. Hopefully someone else can answer that.
rpcv77 Posted May 14, 2014 #3 Share Posted May 14, 2014 When we sailed on the Grand in early April, they showed movies in the Vista Lounge on some evenings. I saw American Hustle there one night, and had a two person settee to myself. It was a very comfortable way to watch a movie.

Cruisin' Chick Posted May 14, 2014 #6 Share Posted May 14, 2014 On our last cruise on the Golden, there was usually a noonish movie playing in the Princess Theater. Each night you'll get the next day's Patter that will tell you what movies are playing on the MUTs and in the show theater (whether it's the Princess or Vista for your ship). In the first day's Patter, there will be a list of some of the featured (meaning on the MUTS screen) movies but not which days.

Cruiserkenn Posted May 15, 2014 #8 Share Posted May 15, 2014 Unlike some Holland America ships, Princess fleet does not have a dedicated movie theater. Yes, so true, but I love it when they have big movies in the Princess Theater or the Vista Lounge. Sometimes this is a few days after the film has been on MUTS. As has been mentioned, watch the Patter each day for venues and times. Enjoy!
