Kkate Posted May 14, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2014 New to NCL and just need some clarification. I booked the BA while the BOGO was in effect. Now that the promo is over will I lose it if I try to get an upgrade or price drop? Happy with what I got but am just curious. Thanks.
time2cruise1 Posted May 14, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 14, 2014 You could very well lose what you have.

When one goes for a new "price", they have to give up the old "price". By price, it includes the whole package.
SissasMomE Posted May 14, 2014 #5 Share Posted May 14, 2014 Yes. You will be rebooked at the current promotion. I just want to clarify this ... I've done it both ways. I've gotten adjustments and even upgrades without losing anything. I just rec'd a $500 adjustment for my Epic cruise, but they rebooked me. It wasn't an issue - I didn't lose anything other than the extra latitude point (and could care less. I'm already platinum) so I didn't push it. In the past, I have pushed it and was just given adjustments without losing anything. The BOGO and the Kids Sail Free promotions are a little different though, and people have reported losing the offer when upgrading or asking for a price drop. Hope that helps! Kkate Posted May 14, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted May 14, 2014 Thank you all so much! Just tried my first ncl cruise on the Epic last month & loved it! Very exited for BA and Bermuda for the first time.
$hip$hape Posted May 14, 2014 #7 Share Posted May 14, 2014 (edited) New to NCL and just need some clarification. I booked the BA while the BOGO was in effect. Now that the promo is over will I lose it if I try to get an upgrade or price drop? Happy with what I got but am just curious. Thanks. WE also booked the BOGO (with a GTY) . If we can get an upgrade, fine, but this deal met our needs:rolleyes: It's hard to find happiness. No matter what you have, it's human nature to want more.
