Celebrate3 Posted May 15, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 15, 2014 We are cruising the Getaway on June 7th..as far as our carry-on luggage, I am assuming if we get to the port early (as we plan), it will be awhile until our checked luggage is delivered to our stateroom. Will we have to wheel around our carry-on until then or are we able to just drop it off in the room?

You can not get to rooms until 1-2pm as they are busy cleaning them. We always roll our carryon to lunch in the MDR, and by time we are done eating, we wheel it to our cabin. rvsullivan Posted May 15, 2014 #3 Share Posted May 15, 2014 Every NCL ship has a room to check in your carry on, they will give you a claim check. Ask as you board and you will be directed there. Otherwise you can carry it around the ship with you.
Briji04 Posted May 15, 2014 #4 Share Posted May 15, 2014 We were just on the Getaway last month. They did not have a place to check your carry on. I checked with a few ncl crew just to make sure. We ended up going to our cabin and dropping it off even before the announcement was made that our cabin was ready. I'm not sure if it was pure luck or good timing but our cabin was clean before 100pm. We didn't stay in the room at that time. Too much to see....
