Col311 Posted August 2, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2005 Hey guys. Does anyone know what kind of shopping Ochos Rios and/or Montego Bay has? I'm looking for purses in particular. Thanks.
CaribbeanBlue Posted August 3, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2005 Some of the smaller shops in Ocho Rios and Montego Bay carry purses which are reasonable. There are no outlet shops etc available for Coach etc. They will be knockoff purses, so don't lay out a huge amount of money. I would not recommend that you visit the straw market for purses, they can be a bit too aggressive there for my tastes. You can get the same low price without the hastle at the family run shops. pejay Posted October 6, 2005 #3 Share Posted October 6, 2005 Is there a shopping area near the pier in Ocho Rios?
TheWog Posted October 6, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 6, 2005 There is the Island Village. Has many shops inside as well as Margaritaville.
pejay Posted October 6, 2005 #5 Share Posted October 6, 2005 There is the Island Village. Has many shops inside as well as Margaritaville. Dumb question, but what is Margaritaville?
TheWog Posted October 6, 2005 #6 Share Posted October 6, 2005 There are no dumb questions. Margaritaville is a small chain of restaurants started by Jimmy Buffet. You can get a Cheeseburger in Paradise and find your lost shaker of salt. You can also purchase some overpriced souveniers as well. http://margaritaville.com/
huskerdude Posted October 7, 2005 #7 Share Posted October 7, 2005 Also on the web site, if you go into the shopping area and find Jimmy's lost shaker of salt you can print a coupon for a free Margarita.:D
