renza Posted May 20, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 20, 2014 Does the water have to be wrapped new to get it on board? Or can u take individual plastic bottles on? 092306 Posted May 20, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 20, 2014 It doesn't have to be wrapped, you can take individual bottles in carry on luggage. 12 allowed per person, same for soda.

I don't know how much attention they pay to sealed or not on port days. They want them sealed to make sure you aren't sneaking in booze, like there's no other way to do that. :D But for the most part they will make you toss out any open pop or water bottles. That they can see. I think they say a case per person, but you can bring more on in each port.
renza Posted May 21, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted May 21, 2014 So it has to be a sealed case not just sealed bottles? Ugh Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Just the bottles themselves. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
jazzlover04 Posted May 21, 2014 #6 Share Posted May 21, 2014 I actually had a cooler which was deemed too big with loose bottles of water, the confiscated the cooler and gave me a big trashbag to carry on my bottles of water. Never seen that. Best to just carry it on. If you are concerned about weight there are some cheap carts/carriers on the market. JustFloatN Posted May 21, 2014 #12 Share Posted May 21, 2014 It must be in your carry on luggage. Bob This is a bit misleading . You dont have to actually have the sodas and water IN a carry on . We put ours on top of our rolling carry on's and just roll it in . P.S. Not to say it might easier for you to have it in a carry on . :)
bunchesofun Posted May 21, 2014 #13 Share Posted May 21, 2014 If you do use a a cooler, it can not be any larger than 12x12x12. Anything larger and they will confiscate it.

Have a great cruise.
