LisaLoves Posted May 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 22, 2014 Do price reductions usually go? We booked a 5night Bahamas going out of Charleston in September for 279.00 it's 339.00 now. If you had to guess, do you think it would go any lower than 279.00 or is that as low as it might go? Thanks so much!
Rare Tapi Posted May 22, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 22, 2014 (edited) That seems to be at the very bottom of what those 5 night cruises go for. I mean, when you break it down by day, you're currently paying Motel 6 prices. Your cruise is at the peak of hurricane season which historically tends to be one of the least popular (and cheapest) times of the year. You may still see some price drops based on how busy this year's hurricane season is (we sailed for $99 one time) but you may not see those drops until hurricane season is under way. mom2tcdx2 Posted May 22, 2014 #3 Share Posted May 22, 2014 I think it will be really hard to say, to me their prices out of Charleston and even Baltimore seem a bit higher than I would want to pay. We ended up booking a 7 night on the Liberty out of Floriday for May 31 and it was $269 pp for an inside, and $309 for an oceanview. While having to drive a bit farther, I never really thought we would get a 7 day that low.
tncap Posted May 22, 2014 #4 Share Posted May 22, 2014 The lowest I have booked was 5 nights out of Jacksonville for $189, but $259-$319 seems much more common.
