~Christie~ Posted May 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 22, 2014 In considering the Navigator for our next possible cruise we are looking to get an interior room. With the new virtual balconies now available would you choose that one over a promenade interior? It appears that the promenade rooms are a little bit bigger? Clarea Posted May 22, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 22, 2014 I believe the promenade staterooms are a bit larger, but I don't like the layout or the lack of privacy. If I didn't want to pay for a regular oceanview, then I'd rather have a regular inside, than a promenade or virtual.
xxoocruiser Posted May 22, 2014 #3 Share Posted May 22, 2014 Also not a fan of the layout of the Promenade Cabins. The main difference is only that it a has bay window seating area. Additionally you really need to keep the drapes fully closed as the people in the cabins across the promenade can see directly into your room. If the Virtual Inside cabin is the same as a non-virtual cabin than I'd select the virtual. However if they're not than I'd just stick with a basic inside cabin and use the money saved for other things. Besides how much time do you really intend to stay in the cabin ? ~Christie~ Posted May 22, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted May 22, 2014 (edited) Thanks! We tend to like interior on the lido deck or one deck down b/c of location and saving a little money that we can use for other things on the cruise. I appreciate the replies b/c we have never sailed RCL. I think we may just stick to a regular ole interior room. LOL! We are not in there that much anyways. lol Edited May 22, 2014 by ~Christie~
