Not sure about face recognition. Every time they took our pic they swiped our card. We never checked our photos.

 

Didn't see anything about texting options either, but wasn't looking..

OK, I did a search but still can't figure out what DOS stands for - although I assume it's a type of suite. Double Occupancy Suite? Duplicate Owners Suite? Dirty Old Suite? Deliciously Ostentatious Suite? Lol. Please fill me in!

The drydock sounds very underwhelming from a passengers standpoint. Exactly as I expected.

I am going on my honeymoon in late July and I was just seeing if it was worth it to get the ultimate drink program or if there are good drink specials on the dailies.... thanks!

I'm sure you are correct. In addition to a daily special at O'Sheehans, there was a nightly theme in the buffet.. AFAIK, lobsters were never served all week in free dining (we asked Virginia a few times). Don't know if this was simply a provisioning issue.

Just off the Jewel today. No lobster in MDR or buffet this week either. Moderno service was slowest we have ever had since we have been eating at them. I assume they are still working out bugs. They came in the GV one day and were measuring for drapery so I assume they are still working on things. We were on the Jewel on November and I really didn't notice any changes in the GV except the carpet.

Had an awesome trip and weather was great. Our first time with Virginia and like her a lot. We will be traveling with her again in September on the Gem.
