Liquor up charge?

Our understanding is that if you do not purchase the liquor package, but order a cocktail with the higher quality spirits, you will incur a charge.

Any idea how much the charge would be, on say an Absolut martini, versus the standard Smirnoff? Trying to assess if the liquor package would be a good value for us.

You may find my post of interest (or maybe not ). http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2048895

From the menu, there are six martinis on offer, ranging in price from $7.50 (Finlandia Mango vodka) to $11.95 (Ultimate). To buy Absolute, the price is $4.95.

You can wait until you're on board, you know. That way you can ask questions to better assess whether the packages are a good fit for you.
