VIFP Club - special offers just for you?

Recommended Posts

who did you call? And had they called or emailed you first?

It was on my OH6 front page, under terms and cond. I clicked on that and got 7 pages of deals, all of the deals that players club is using right now. Only 1 PC2 was for me, and I had that on the front page. I have 4 different deals right now, I have been getting them for the last 5 years. Why I have no Idea but keep them coming. I only had 1 free about a year ago and that was a special date and we just got back from a cruise so we did not use it. 3 years ago I got $1400 casino cash don't get that anymore, just $200/$400 now with up to 40% off. This last round is really different, I could go every week in a balcony 7day $120+tax and fee or 8Days $130+Tax and fees just about any ship. I must thank my PVP, he called and told me to check my deals. WOW We did 3 this year and booked the Pride for July we can drive to it. Now I sitback and hope something like this for Jan/Feb and we will jump on it. The deal now is book by June 20 and use by Aug 31, 2014, I would have booked 3 in a row for Jan/Feb time.

We are Platinum/VIFPs and I have looked in the Special Offers tab today and saw a couple. One from the Player's Club and one for VIFPs.

But yesterday, our PVP called. Said there was an 8 day offer for the Breeze in an inside room for $311 for 2 people total! We booked it asap. He told us it was one of those special offers for certain people. We ask if another friend who usually cruises with us can get the deal too (She's VIFP/Platinum too) and he said no the offer doesn't apply to her.

I just booked a few days ago and I had a VIFP promo on my account but my husband did not. It was $85 cheaper per person than the ES rate.

However, when I just checked using a "mock booking", it ended up only being $100 cheaper overall vs the $160. Not sure how they play with the numbers to work out in their advantage, but I can't get OBC because the VIFP rate no longer shows due to my existing booking

One thing that irked me though was that when I booked using the VIFP rate, there were extra fees for booking a mid-ship rate and now there's not ;)
