immargaret Posted August 4, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 4, 2005 Hi Melissa, These prices are from my 2005 order form......Sorry they didn't list the whale watching since we cruised in April...too late for whales. Fort light and sound show and night cliff divers, 7:30 PM, $65 adult/$45 child Las Gatas beach break party 8:30 AM,$65 adult/$45 child Dolphin Encounter, 10:15 AM, $105 If your uncertain you can book the excursions and cancel up to 24 hours before without a penalty. They don't charge you until they add it on to your shipboard account. I heard that Las Gatas was a beautiful beach. The fort light and sound show was really too expensive through the ship, and the night cliff divers are easy to get to by cab on your own. If you want pictures of the divers the day time show is better. I didn't hear anything about the dolphin encounter.
Kelly K Posted August 4, 2005 #3 Share Posted August 4, 2005 I'm so happy to see that someone else asked this question. We're heading out Thanksgiving break - and you're right - the info on-line doesn't have anything about price. My 1st time on NCL - and it's starting to worry me a little because you'd think the excursion stuff is pretty significant and of course travelers will want to know pricing when they book. Don't think it's too much to expect that~ Why should we have to wait until we're onboard to find out that info?

platterb Posted August 5, 2005 #5 Share Posted August 5, 2005 We're scheduled for the 11/1 sailing. So, I jotted down a listing of the excursions I thought my husband and I would be interested in before the order form was removed from the website. They're mostly out-doorsey types, beaches, snorkeling and kayaking. So, if anyone would like a price listing I'd be happy to look them up from my list. Another option for those who are interested is to access Princess, Holland America or Celebrity. Not surprisingly, each offers basically the same shore excursions. The associated pricing is also available and generally they only vary $5 - $10. I didn't catch the whale watching either because the primary months were Dec-Mar. So I did do a quick look up and saw that $65 was the avg price for whale watching. Hope this helps.
