Esilef Posted June 2, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2014 We recently travelled on voyager of the seas and wanted to say how much we totally loved the AFT cabin 7688. The balcony had 3 lounge chairs & 2 regular chairs plus 2 tables plus room to move. The back of the ship is the super structure but this didn't spoil the view. There is a large port hole about 8 feet around on the side of the ship. We didn't find the walk to the back if the ship too bad Being all the way in the back we had no passing noise. There was no soot on the balcony as it was fully enclosed but we still got sun. The room was small but the balcony being so large made it feel like double the size. It was kind of like a separate living area. We couldn't go to the main dining room as our son is autistic & wouldn't sit still so one night the head waiter arranged for us to have our dinner on the balcony. Highlight. The other best cabins are 1388/1688 as they have extra cabin space plus the large balcony. I have been spoilt and don't think I would cruise again unless I got one of these cabins. Amazing amazing amazing. Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app

BuzzBuzzen Posted June 3, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 3, 2014 Fantastic photos , thank you. The superstructure looks great , it really reminds you of where you are , especially the giant porthole. Looks like a cafe setting on some angles too. Cheers,Buzz.

Being on that side of the ship you will have views of the opera house whilst docked at the opt. Might need to book another cruise just to try 1388/1688...........
