cruisercathy Posted August 4, 2005 #3 Share Posted August 4, 2005 Tendering into ports..... We went to the Ivanhoe Theater for tender tickets at 8:30 as we had an independent tour (cave tubing) for Belize. Level 5....If you have purchased a Carnival Tour you go to Level 3 of the Ivanhoe Theater. If you enjoy good music....Eagles Lounge had a great band...Music Society... Casino was good to me....LOL Dining room food was great..... Don;t miss the chocolate buffet at Rosies on the last sea day......

MamaParrotHead Posted August 4, 2005 #5 Share Posted August 4, 2005 doesn't mean s/he's actually BOOKED. no biggie. try the sushi, it's great. for that matter, try new dishes, they're all included and if you're anything like me, I wouldn't try something "out there" if I knew I'd still have to pay for it if I didn't like it. I did Eastern route, but still...if you see something in the shops that you REALLY want, to waste your vacation scouring the shops in port to find it...buy it on the ship. We found the items there to only be dollars (if any) difference between the shops in port. take time to be relaxed. tailor your vacation to suit yourselves...if you want to just relax, do it. if you're a "joiner", knock yourself out. deck 10, aft, always had open deck chairs. it's only about 20 yards (down the steps) to the pool and really conveinent to the bar, restrooms and food as well. Angela, the head bartender in the Bronx Bar, is a hoot. I think that's it....for yummy, specific dishes to try in the dining room, check out my review. It's posted both on the Carnival board here, and in the "main" reviews section (linked at the top of the page).
