Seating in Windjammer on Allure/Oasis

Recommended Posts

I'm reading a lot of reviews saying that these days, rather than having it be a free-for-all looking for a table in the Windjammer during breakfast/lunch that they have lines going in. They give you hand sanitizer, ask how many in your party, and walk you to an available table.

Here's my question. If you're 2 people, do they automatically bring you to a table for 2 or do they simply fill in larger tables, the way they do in the MDR for breakfast/lunch? Or do you need to specify whether you'd prefer to sit alone or with a group of others?

We are just off of the Oasis and the staff would only seat us during really busy periods. The staff asked how many people; there were only 2 of us, and we never were seated at a table with other people. Sometimes they would sit us at a table that could hold 4 people but just the 2 of us would sit there. It wasn't really a big deal and only os sea days at noon was there a small wait for a table. I would say no more than 5 minutes. They would make an announcement asking passangers to please vacate their table immediately after they were finished eating in order to make room for others to have a place to sit.
