kelly3399 Posted June 5, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 5, 2014 As Alaska cruise season is in full swing, is there a webcam in Vancouver that gives a live view of the ships arriving and departing from the Canada Place terminal? Kelly
CowPrincess Posted June 5, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 5, 2014 I found one webcam in North Van that shows one side of Canada Place, but it isn't a good picture. Hopefully someone will report on a better one :)
Lizzie68 Posted June 5, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 5, 2014 (edited) This is the only one, from the building I work in - it shows only one side of Canada Place, but when the HAL ships on the other side leave, you can see them backing out. http://www.visioncritical.com/the-view-from-here There's this one from the Westin Bayshore, but it is also still photos, but refreshed quickly. http://www.westinbayshore.com/cam/ Edited June 5, 2014 by Marco's Tia

I have emailed the Port of Vancouver and asked them to try and improve that pathetic camera from North Vancouver. :oTold them it's the worst web cam around but it fell on deaf ears. Maybe you can try the national pride angle. Turn it into the webcam version of Tim Horton's versus Dunkin Donuts. ;)
