I am trying to book a shuttle to the airport and want to give them an idea of what time we will be off at. Thanks Judith MSC states that all passengers need to vacate their stateroom by 7:00am, but you can disembark the ship later than that. We had breakfast in the Top Sail Lounge and then our butler escorted us off the ship. You may want to allow at least one hour to collect your baggage and clear customs as well. So we won't have a set to leave at. On the other cruises we have been on we have had a set time to disembark. We plan to have breakfast just after 7.00am then head off the ship do we just get our butler when we are ready to leave. Would 8.30 am be too early for the shuttle. Thanks Again Judith

Thanks Again Judith Yes, just let the concierge know you are ready to disembark and they will get your butler for you. Fortunately for us, our butler Jonathan, escorted us into the lounge, poured our coffee, and then waited for us to finish breakfast before escorting us off the ship. You'll still need to gather your luggage once you are off the ship and clear customs as well, just be sure to give yourself about an hour to be safe.:D

ferniedog Posted June 10, 2014 #6 Share Posted June 10, 2014 Hi, another yacht club question. Do you have to leave your luggage outside on the final night, like all other cruises I've been on? Sent from my iPad using Forums

Sent from my iPad using Forums You have that option, or you can disembark using self assist. We chose self assist only because it was a 3 day trip and we didn't have that much luggage with us.:)

Judith I think what may slow you down would be gathering everyone's luggage and then trying to find a porter to assist you all through customs. I see you aren't traveling until October. We'll be traveling in August and we tend to overpack, I'm sure we'll have 6-7 cases between us, so I'll let you know how the process turns out for us. I am trying to book a shuttle to the airport and want to give them an idea of what time we will be off at. Thanks Judith DH and I discovered that taking a taxi to our hotel cost about the same as a shuttle for 2. All we had to do was wait for about 5 min at the curb once we left the ship. kathiean Posted June 21, 2014 #24 Share Posted June 21, 2014 My DD, grandson, and myself had 8 cases on our March Divina trip. It was absolutely no problem disembarking. We loved the leisurely, quiet breakfast in the Topsail, saying goodbye to all of our new friends. Our butler escorted us off and we were out of customs and in a taxi in less than 30 minutes.
