Pack and Go - Carnival Dream

I have a cruise booked for August 3rd ES rate. It is paid in full.

 

I see that Carnival is offering the Pack & Go rates for this sailing. The rate is cheaper (almost $100) but it says Carnival picks your cabin.

 

Of course I have cabins reserved already. So my question is, can I price match to this rate and get OBC?

NO. I book ES all the time. Pack and Go are about the only fair type you can not price match to. It is because they pick your stateroom.

Sometimes they will let you price match, but you have to be willing to give up your cabin and go with a guarantee cabin. So if you like your cabin, don't do this. I did this one time, when I had the lowest category cabin available, and I was reassigned to the same cabin. So sometimes it can work out for you. And other times they may not even give you this option.
