knelson317 Posted June 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2014 We will be sailing on the Pride this summer. We have a large group with two of us having extended balconies on the port side. Does anyone know if the dividers can be opened on the extended balconies? I know they could on the standard, but I have not been able to find anything about the extended balconies. Thanks! WindsorFred Posted June 12, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2014 Yes they can. We were on the Miracle last Jan with our BF's in extended balconies. They did open the divider for us. On Spirit class ships the divider is clamped to the balcony railing and there are a limited # of clamps so ask early at GS. Someone from each cabin needs to be present when the request is made. We_B_CruzN Posted June 12, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 12, 2014 Yes, we had a family cruise in April, three extended balcony and had the dividers opened, and we loved it, so much room  :D
Carnival_Brides Posted June 12, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 12, 2014 (edited) Yup it can be done. Send a person from each cabin to guest services as soon as you board to make the request. As a PP said there are a limited number of clips (on my wedding cruise it was 22 and we wanted four balconies opened), so do it early.
