Chance a price point on 8 day cruise?

I have a 24 hour hold on an inside cabin for $569 pp on a 8 day leaving in Sept. Final payment is due by 6/22.

Any chance this price will go lower after final payment?
What's the lowest you've seen for an 8 day?

The cruise departs during hurricane season. The kids will be back in school.

You didn't say what ship. I've seen 8 day cruises for as low as $449 for an inside cabin. That was for a Florida Resident, Past Guest rate. The chances are fairly good the price you have will drop. It's just the way it is. If you really want the ship/itinerary, book it. Whatever you decide, I hope your cruise is fabulous.:D

I deduce that you are going on the 09/06/2014 Carnival Freedom. I see a super saver rate for 519.00 + tax if you are booking 2 people in a guaranteed inside cabin. :D

9/5/14 Carnival Sunshine 8 days currently $519 inside guarantee. We picked our cabin for $569.

Hoping to save a little money by waiting until after 6/22.

All depends upon supply and demand. Hurricane season can easily go down a bunch as they struggle to fill the ship but always the chance it will sell out before you purchase your cruise.

Our last Freedom cruise, which was an 8 day, the inside guarantees dropped to $399/person. However, the pick your own rooms options remained high - as in 200-300 more per person. If you're willing to go to a guarantee, you might score a good rate by holding out. I'd say it's less likely to happen on a pick your own cabin rate.
