dsnygrl Posted August 5, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2005 My son will be turning 4 on out cruise on the Miracle in September. He is potty trained but I know some places including the pool in our neighborhood requires children 4 and under to wear swim diapes anyway. Anyone know what Carnivals policy is on children and swim diapers? I hate to show up without them and have him not be allowed to go in the pool and I hate spending the money to buy them and packing them if they are not needed. Thanks. tef43 Posted August 5, 2005 #3 Share Posted August 5, 2005 what Carnivals policy is on children and swim diapers? No swim diapers allowed in the pools, period. http://www.carnival.com/CMS/FAQs/Age_Restrictions_on_Board.aspx
HeidiHo Posted August 5, 2005 #4 Share Posted August 5, 2005 Since children who are not potty trained are not allowed in the pool, if your child showed up in a swim diaper, people would assume he's not potty trained. Leave the swim diapers at home.
Cotton Posted August 5, 2005 #5 Share Posted August 5, 2005 From the "Welcome Aboard" booklet you rec'd with your documents: "Children in diapers or those who are not toilet trained are not allowed to use our pools due to United States Public Health regulatrions." Since your son is 4, and I'm sure potty-trained, just bring his little swim trunks!:) Also - there's a kiddie pool on the Sports Deck, Deck 11. It is a wading pool like you would see at most hotels/resorts. No slide. Not sure about hours of operations or whether adults are allowed but I would think they would be.
