Weird fares

Watching the fares for the Magic in September every other sailing EXCEPT for ours is going down.

 

9/7, 9/21, 9/28 all have gone down significantly, while the 9/14 hasn't. Is cruising on "Talk like a pirate day" really that popular?

Maybe because it's the last cruise of summer. Most schools start Mid-Sept

Most out here start in August. Plus the previous week is cheaper. It's only $30 per person but still...

And the end of August is Hurricane season in full swing. It may not be a fun ship if you hit bad weather

Hurricane season has nothing to do with it. I am sailing on pirate day though. I doubt that makes a difference.

Just wondering why the 9/14 date is so popular.

Probably just supply and demand. Wait a week and things might change--perhaps in your favor.

I've noticed the same thing. All the other 8 day sailings before and after my 14 Sept sail date are approximately $100 - $200 per person cheaper! I hope my price starts to drop soon!
