Garycruz Posted June 18, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2014 Does anyone know if there’s a way for me to find out which production shows I will be seeing on my upcoming July cruise? For RCI, I was able to send an email and they would respond with the production show schedule. This is going to be my first Carnival cruise so I’m wondering if they similarly have a way to find out the schedule in advance. Any input is appreciated. Garycruz Posted June 18, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted June 18, 2014 Carnival Splendor – The Beat / Vroom / Fiesta Latina Thank you! This is very helpful. I think I recall seeing these shows mentioned on some older reviews so I guess they haven't changed the shows in a while. Hopefully these shows can come close to the production shows on RCI as I'm afraid I might have been spoiled by them.
jcearth Posted June 18, 2014 #5 Share Posted June 18, 2014 (edited) “The Beat” is Carnival’s newest production and will offer a wide selection of fast-paced hit songs from Prince and Peter Gabriel, and a high-kicking tribute to Gerry Lee Lewis and Billy Joel, all accompanied by an elaborate display of video animation, digital lasers and other special effects. With highly detailed costumes and set designs and precision choreography, “The Beat” is sure to have guests energized and ready to dance. “Vrooom” pays tributes to a number of memorable rock-and-roll stars in history, and features the music of such artists as Bob Seger and Huey Lewis & the News, as well as an entire section dedicated to the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis. Continuing down memory lane, guests will also revisit the famous “British Invasion,” as well as the cool, toe-tapping sounds of Motown. The show ends with a tribute to Queen and some of their of their biggest hits. The third show, “Fiesta Latina,” showcases popular Caribbean and Latin American sounds, through the pulsating beats of artists such as the Mambo Kings and Gloria Estefan, just to name a few. The catchy beats and rhythms of the tropics, along with colorful costumes, sets, and a breathtaking display of technical wizardry, will surely have guests on their feet.
