Taxi to NYC

Hi,

Could someone explain what its like to embark in NYC?

How close can the taxi's get to where the porters are? Since I'm traveling with dogs I'm concerned about sorting out my luggage (for which I don't have Cunard tags although I know my cabin number) which keeping tabs on my dogs.

Thanks for any advise.

Yvonne

Thanks so much Moose. Those tags are id tags, not cabin tabs, correct?

THEY ARE BOTH .FILL IN YOUR PERSONAL INFO PLUS YOUR CABIN NUMBER. THE SAME FORMAT THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SENT TO YOU WITH YOUR DOCS. BUT THE ONES AT THE PIER ARE NOT PRE PRINTED BUT I DO BELIEVE THEY ARE COLOR CODED FOR YOUR DECK # BON VOYAGE
