Mary Lou's or Rickys tours on Hilo ?

We just took the tour with MaryLou in Hilo in March and loved it. We had her husband Tom, he was awesome!

We have done their tours twice in 2 years.

A few years ago I talked to Ricky from Ricky's tour over the phone, he said he does not vary his tour @ all. He does the same exact tour everytime. So if you want to vary the tour even just a little go with Mary Lou's . Her husband is great also. Now their son is doing it too. I would not hesitate to go with him also. We paid @ the end of the tour not ahead:D

Yes, I do remember this , but he said we had to fill the van with 8-10 people on our own. Then being considered a private tour. If we wanted to make any changes, even a few. I did not want to be responsible for making sure we had that many people.:eek: What if @ the last minute some from our roll call did not show up.?? Then we would have to pay the difference. That is what he said.

 

Where with Mary Lou's they got the extra people & if they did not, then you had an even smaller group. And not pay for a private tour, if you were flexible.

They would do a few changes. They try to please everyone in the group.

we recently toured with Mary Lou and actually had her son Kyle for the driver and narrator. We were shown all the major sites, and Kyle escorted us and explained everything. The personal touch provided was top notch and I recommend them highlly. There were 3 couples in a van and was so much nicer than the big bus tours. Payment was made at the end of the tour, which was also different than dealing with the big tour companies. You won't regret going with this company.

We have them booked for August in Hilo, and they have been a pleasure to deal with. Looking forward to this tour. They also offer Kona tours, but we have a snorkel trip planned there.

PetLady, we toured with Ken last July on Hilo and Kona, and loved it. You won't be disappointed.
