Psychler Posted August 7, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 7, 2005 Is anyone going on Explorer of the Seas out of Miami on August 28th? My partner and I are going and it is our first time on RCI. We have been several times on Celebrity and Holland America, as well as a few others. I'd love to hear what experiences past cruisers have had on Explorer. We are die-hard Celebrity fans, but figured we'd try out Explorer because the deal was great and because we thought we might run into more people around our age (we are 30 and 32). We love to scuba dive, explore, and have a great time when we cruise, and would love to meet any others who are going! Thanks! Fred

I just sorta found him when I was on the ship last year. He is a really nice guy and alot of fun, and cute too!
island04 Posted August 10, 2005 #6 Share Posted August 10, 2005 Come on, Dad and Son Team...that's a little vague, isn't it? : )
dad son team Posted August 10, 2005 #7 Share Posted August 10, 2005 This is a family board so I won't say the exact circumstances that we met, but, is was during the 4 o'clock hour. If you read this board enough, you will be able to put it all together.
island04 Posted August 10, 2005 #8 Share Posted August 10, 2005 LOL...I see what you mean. I think there's a 7:00am hour, too. I know about the 4 or 5:00pm one, but I'm pretty sure the earlier one is on the schedule, too. I met him during the earlier hour. So, what does your sn mean? Just curious. Psychler Posted August 11, 2005 Author #9 Share Posted August 11, 2005 So....Not to get off topic, but is either one of you going to be on this cruise?
MILEMRKR63 Posted August 11, 2005 #10 Share Posted August 11, 2005 Yes John is a nice guy : ) You'll have a great cruise for sure as the ship is amazing. I sailed in Dec 04 and there was plenty of family on board. I, as well as my friends, really enjoyed the cruise. John was very attentive to me all week and added to the overall cruise experience. dad son team Posted August 11, 2005 #11 Share Posted August 11, 2005 So....Not to get off topic, but is either one of you going to be on this cruise? Sorry, didn't mean to hijack your thread. No, I was on the Explorer the same week last year. This year, I will be on the Voyager the same week.
island04 Posted August 12, 2005 #12 Share Posted August 12, 2005 Psychler...sorry to have gotten way off the subject of the thread. I'm trying to decide right now between going on the Mariner or the Explorer. Both are the same size ship, I've been on both in the past, I love both of them, but Port Canaveral is about an hour closer to me. They do have a little difference between their itineraries, though. I'll have to let you know soon which one I choose. Thanks for your patience. You all have made a great choice in going with RCCL and I think you'll love the ship.
