canuckinindia Posted June 28, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 28, 2014 (edited) I've reviewed the S class spreadsheet but there is slim information on some of the cabins i'm looking at. I've currently got cabin 8253 blocked on Equinox for a Med cruise in August which i believe is the third cabin from the hump and should have a larger balcony (or do i count it going the other way?). Also there is notes in the spreadsheet indicating a less than 180 degree view which i think is as a result of the slant, assume view is still exceptional? Other locations: 7241 & 7245:Adjoining the hump but rear view (users in spreadsheet note the large balcony) 9297: Aft location and on floor plans it shows an oversized balcony (is it?) Attached link to Equinox floorplans Thanks in advance for your advise. Edited June 28, 2014 by canuckinindia Added link to floorplans
teecee60 Posted June 29, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 29, 2014 7241 with it's larger than normal, slanted, aft facing balcony should give good views, a LITTLE wind protection, while being close to elevator/stairwell.
2theship Posted June 29, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 29, 2014 Earlier this year we were on a family cruise on the Silhouette and had cabins 7243, 7245 and 7247 - all aft facing on the back of the hump. The location was wonderful but 7245 had the largest balcony by far.
