MP&MP Posted July 2, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 2, 2014 I have been on a few of NCL cruises (Pearl, Sky, Pride of America) and this will be our first time on the Epic. Are there any good tips for things to do/ eat on the epic that aren't any of their other ships? Thanks! MP
Rare genealogyfan Posted July 2, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 2, 2014 It was a great ship and not as big as I thought. I highly recommend taking the behind the scenes tour - very interesting and different. If you prefer to have a nice quiet deck - get the weekly posh passes, they have a limited amount of them so get there early if you are interested - buy them at the guest services desk. The bathroom didn't bother us at all. As I mentioned in my review if you have mobility problems and have a bathroom it's hard to get in/out - kinda high. Wasn't a problem for me but it might be for some. The memory is rusty. ;) Don't try to do it all. :) More than anyone could possibly do in 7 days. Go see Howl at the Moon, Blue Man, and Second City. The Manhattan Room is really nice. The slides look like they would be fun. Go and enjoy
MP&MP Posted July 2, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted July 2, 2014 Below is the link to my review http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1827709 Below is the link to a thread about EPIC secrets http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1313802 Thank You! I really appreciate the Eric secrets especially about the carpet (blue vs red) and the Posh Lounge. I knew there are special passes for the spa but I think the posh lounge is new to me. Is there a special pool in this area or just loungers chair and a private bar?
