Mike's parents did that a couple of times, and I know Mike would love it.

I'm not a road trip kind of gal. and would probably not like it.

We took Amtrak from Seattle to LA. Mike Loved it. Me not so much.

That's why I cruise. :D

So you could pick up a cruise from Whittier, or wherever the cruise(s) begin in Alaska to Vancouver and from there pick up another cruise from Vancouver down to LaLa Land or to San Diego. Mike could take the train down the coast.
