Shop times

We're looking at the Carnival Glory cruise in June 2015. The ship is scheduled for 0700-1530. Anyone know what time the shops open? We'll have 4 kids in tow (15, 13, 12 & 10) so the fort, perusing downtown & maybe some beach time on our own.

Most shops do not open up until after 9:00 am. The forts don't open until 9:00. Depending on how much you want to walk, you could walk the outside of the old city walls first thing in the morning. The water fountain and other parts offer great photo opportunities. You could visit the forts after this while getting a snack and/or something to drink along the way. Make sure to ride the free trolley between the forts. You could then do some shopping on your way back to the ship to get your beach towels. Take a taxi to a beach, either Isla Verde or Condado. Make sure to head back to the ship by 4:00. This could be a long day.
