karen327 Posted July 6, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2014 We are planning on going on a cruise around the horn on the NCL sun westbound and are debating between going in early december, early january or early feb. I have been reading through this forum and have learned about the different things you will see with penguins life stages and that the seas are usually calmer in jan and feb, but I can't find anything about viewing the glacers and mountains. I know in Alaska your more likely to have clear weather in the middle of summer, is that correct also in pantigonia? Also, will there be less snow and ice to view during the scenic part of the sailings, making it less pretty, if we go later in the season? Anything else that would be helpful to know to help make this decision?
