AmoMondo Posted July 6, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 6, 2014 So you're onboard at last Kate. How are you enjoying life in Te Yacht Club? Hope all is going well for you.
Katgoesonholiday Posted July 6, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted July 6, 2014 We are having a wonderful time! The Yacht Club is amazing and the ship is very beautiful. It's huge though and I'm inclined to agree with you about the smaller ships. Of course, that just means I'll have to try a cruise on one so I can have an informed opinion! :D

Of course, that just means I'll have to try a cruise on one so I can have an informed opinion! :D NOTHING compares to the yacht club...even the smaller ships which we have been on. The only plus we feel the smaller ships have is that they can go to certain ports that the larger ships cannot dock at. The thing we like best about the yacht club over smaller ships is the fact that you can have a large casino and showroom because the vesssel holds so many guests overall. I actually intended to do half our dining & lounging in the main part of the ship but could not bear to leave the yacht club experience except for shows & gambling.... nothing like it....... :O)
andrewjb1 Posted July 6, 2014 #7 Share Posted July 6, 2014 Im laughing to myself now thinking about the people reading your post that will actually think thats the bacon. Bless.
Bosjoe Posted July 6, 2014 #8 Share Posted July 6, 2014 One guy makes a comment on raw bacon and it still finds it way into post through the summer still. hahah Enjoy your cruise with that raw and cooked bacon eventually :)
adavidw Posted July 6, 2014 #9 Share Posted July 6, 2014 That picture right there represents the whole reason why I booked my next cruise on MSC. I was hoping that by booking an Italian line, I'd be able to load up a plate with all the "raw bacon" I could find. I'm so happy to see your picture and see what I'm in for on my upcoming cruise. I can't wait!

mapsmith Posted July 7, 2014 #11 Share Posted July 7, 2014  :D That picture is just evil! I am so hungry for the MSC Cold Cuts. Starting the day with Prosciutto, Mortadella, and about a dozen cheeses. OMG.
Waihekean Posted July 10, 2014 #12 Share Posted July 10, 2014 Hi Kat:) Wonderful to hear you are having a great time. Was worried if you would have jet lag. Hope you are have good weather. In Holland it is cold and wet Brrr. Looking forward to some warm Med weather. Ciao!!
legion3 Posted July 10, 2014 #13 Share Posted July 10, 2014 That picture is just evil! I am so hungry for the MSC Cold Cuts. Starting the day with Prosciutto, Mortadella, and about a dozen cheeses. OMG. Cold cuts is the proper term for that. Certainly isn't bacon. I can get those cheaper at subway in the cold cut combo. I wonder if CT has an opinion on the bacon. ;)
catydid Posted July 10, 2014 #14 Share Posted July 10, 2014 Looks yummy to me! My hubs and I spent two weeks in Italy last year, and I became a huge fan of their breakfast fare (which was quite different than what my southern US life has experienced). We'll be sailing the first time on MSC in a few months, and really looking forward to it.

The butlers and waitstaff were absolutely marvelous to her and her 14 month old son. I have NEVER been treated so well on a cruise...it truly is a 'ship within a ship'!
