Volleyball anyone?

We're on the Summit, July 9th, Alaska. Does anyone know if there is Vb played on the cruises? (It's my favorite thing to do)

When we were on the Infinity, volleyball was occasionally played up on the volleyball court located on the aptly named Sports Deck. It shares the same space as the basketball courts however...

I'm an avid volleyball player too, check the dailies for announced times that they set up the volleyball net -- on the two M-class cruises I've been on (Constellation and Millennium) they advertised volleyball, sometimes with the crew, but no one showed up or it was too windy on the Sports deck.

First time cruising so I love learning about shipboard stuff. You would think out of 1500 ppl I could find 7-11 others who'd want to play.

One thing to try is to get active on the roll call for your cruise and talk up volleyball. That way, you might have several people that will join you and get enough together to make it work. I think the activities staff would be happy to put up a volleyball net if they had 10-12 people standing there asking. If it's just one or two, they probably won't. One problem you may have with it being scheduled is that your cruise is very port intensive and there isn't a lot of "sea" time.

I also like volleyball, especially in the pool.
