Jakanne1 Posted July 6, 2014 #7 Share Posted July 6, 2014 (edited) Someone just posted on FB that kettle bases and trays are now being installed in cabins. This from someone just returning from a Baltic cruise. :):). Kettles soon, I presume. Edited July 6, 2014 by Jakanne1
mazzarooney Posted July 7, 2014 #8 Share Posted July 7, 2014 We have just returned from Baltic Beauties Cruise and I can confirm a kettle base appeared in our cabin on deck 3. No kettle though. Cruise director did say that tea making facilities would appear as the season went on, can't remember if he was more specific than that.

Perhaps they are buying them one part at a time. Sweby
Shimrod Posted July 12, 2014 #11 Share Posted July 12, 2014 (edited) On board in Newcastle, deck 7 cabin has a kettle and very nice 32 in flat screen tv (in a deluxe cabin, not a suite) Edited July 12, 2014 by Shimrod
WeeCountyMan Posted July 12, 2014 #12 Share Posted July 12, 2014 Just back off Spirit today - kettle bases only wired in on our deck 3 cabin. The cynic in me suspected there would be a hire charge to obtain the kettle to attach - but no such offer was ever evident.
mtt Posted July 12, 2014 #13 Share Posted July 12, 2014 someone on fbook said deck 6 had kettles, must have started at balconys and deluxe first as suites have always had them

Malch_uk Posted July 27, 2014 #15 Share Posted July 27, 2014 Back off Spirit today. Our deck 3 cabin (540) had a kettle on the wired in base + 2 tea bags, 2 sachets of coffee, 2 small liquid milk sachets, 2 sugars and wooden sticks for stirring (generous eh?). Was replenished once a day (if used) with same quantity.
