Concierge Class - Infinity

Would you say the Concierge class is worth it on the Infinity? This is for an Alaskan cruise, and the additional charge is $120. We wouldn't use some of the services (i.e. shoeshine, priority seating). Thanks in advance!

The Concierge class cabins are a little larger than the standard balcony cabins. There are 4 CC cabins that have either a larger balcony or a larger cabin and balcony on deck 6 aft. I think they are 6135/36 and 6143/44. The first two connect to a suite and are outfitted accordingly. The latter two are the larger cabins/balconies.

If you can get one of the aft CC cabins then I'd absolutely recommend that.

We've been on the Infinity twice and her sisters as well and also sailed a couple of times to Alaska.

The life boats do protrude somewhat from many points along the port and starboard sides but it is not a total view killer. It's just easier to see down above deck 7.

If Aqua class is lower than CC then go for that. Sometimes it is. And deck 9 either in CC or Aqua offers some protection from the common rainfall indigenous to Alaska. These cabins are particularly wonderful when viewing the Hubbard Glacier. Go for anything aft of 9108 for a quieter cabin.

Have a wonderful time. Alaska is awesome.

Thank you, that is very helpful! We're sailing on 6/14/15 and have cabin 9154 held. Are you familiar with that cabin? What are your thoughts? I felt very confident and then read a negative review due to the over-hang. This is a bucket list trip, and I just want to do it right!
