Question for those that have booked Casino offer

I always purchase Cheers and I also get the On Us card either at the beginning or after earning my 1500 points.

Just make sure that when you are ordering comped drinks in the casino that the barwaiter knows to ring it up under Players Club and NOT Cheers. That way the comped drinks won't count against your 15 limit on Cheers.

Good point! Chances are that I am not getting the Cheers program.

I still don't know how many points the pit boss gives you when you are at a table for two hours etc??

Had over 5000 points on last cruise. Contacted players club about drinks on us card on next cruise. Nope, not eligible. Getting 50 bucks cash. It will be cheaper to buy my own drinks and stay out of the casino.

I am not sure why you do not qualify?? On your last cruise that you accumulated over 5000, did you receive a letter that cruise saying you are eligible for a 3-8 night cruise??

If so, you had to schedule within the next 14 days and sail within the following 3 months. I am not sure if this is why I qualify for the "drinks on us" thing at the casino.

I am printing out my email just in case.

I called as I had between 5000-6000 pts last cruise.....I spoke to a Michael who told me sorry you do not qualify for anything.....if I got 5000 pts by day 5 I would have gotten free cruise offer he said but it took 6 days to get over 5000.....

It seemed that there was a big discrepancy between 5000pts in 5 day=free cruise and 5000pts in 6 days=nada......no drink card,no comps besides to 50 dollars casino cash offered when I booked the cruise.

Fast forward 3 weeks later, my TA called the players club and the lady she spoke to said yes, I will get the drink card on the first day.....talk about inconsistant!!!

I just spoke to a man in the Players Club and he told me that points at the tables are earned by losses. He said every $250 lost receives a compensation of up to $25 is future perks. I asked him so these people who say they have been comped cruises and drinks had to lose thousands of dollars? He replied yes or they had to bet a large enough bet that if they had lost they would have lost that amount. I think the man was just telling me a story and that it's more of a popularity contest. I gave my card to the pit boss every single time I gambled on my last cruise. I lost $600. According to the Players Club i won $94 on my last cruise! Their systems screwy!

I for one did not lose thousands if dollars. I put down $100 at the roulette table and gave my card each time! If I would do well, I would cash out and save it for the next day. I always make sure I tip the dealers and servers. Not sure if this help with the free cruise...I agree inconsistency at its finest. I hit over 6000 points the last night. I got lucky on a few machines and stayed awhile. My card was always in the machines.

Here is the email. carnivalplayersclub@carnival.com

Someone responded within hours. I just gave them my upcoming cruise info and past cruise info. Not sure if they needed anything else. Good luck and let us know!

Thank you so much for this info. I e-mailed the Carnivals players club about my upcoming Splendor cruise and they confirmed that I would be receiving the drink card.

I was on the Splendor this past May and racked up over 8000 points and was given a free cruise.:D

The e-mail states anyone who gets 5000 or more points will receive the drink card on thier next cruise.

You can bet your bippy that I will be bringing that e-mail with me. Thanks again!:)
