MCLATE1 Posted August 8, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 8, 2005 I would love to take my parents in their mid 70's to stingray city. They are both in pretty good health for their age. Do many older people go to stingray city or is it more of a younger crowd?
mrrick747 Posted August 8, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 8, 2005 Anyone can go!! Its a great place to go, young or old. The water is relatively shallow, 4 feet or so and the rays are so gently you can wade and still have the rays swimming around you. If they're not up to getting into the water, the view from the boat is awesome as they fill up the water in that area. The guides will even pick up the rays for the hands on experience and let you feel the squishy rubbery bodies.......lol. Everyone has a great time and would be welcomed on any Sting Ray excusrsion. ccrn Posted August 8, 2005 #3 Share Posted August 8, 2005 I think the seniors would enjoy it. We used Soto's, and it is very easy to get in/out of the boat.
