Help - photos won't show up

I tried to post photos and all I get is a black square with an X. I did exactly what it says in the test and help forums.....

 

I have photos in shutterfly and photo bucket. How do I post full size photos?

I use Snapfish, but, I think I used Shutterfly once. I just right click on my photo, copy image, come here and paste it. Did you try that?

You can post from Facebook that way, too. Go test in the test forum and then come back here when you are ready.

What is the URL to the picture.

 

Put [i mg] before it

 

 

Then put [/i mg] after the Link. Leave brackets, delete spaces

This should work. The problem I was having is that this web site can be particular with certain image hosting sites. Cruise Critic doesn't like IMGUR for some reason but it appears Snapfish works fine :D

I use photobucket to store my photos. When you pull up one of your pics there, you will see a space to the right for a "direct link". Clicking it automatically copies the URL for the photo. Then come to your cruisecritic message, and click on the icon with a mountain & a sun amidst a yellow sky. That's the "insert image" icon. It will ask for a URL of the image. Hit Ctrl-V to paste the direct link that was copied. You will see the pic show up in the message.

When I post a picture from Photobucket, on the right side of the picture there is an area called "Links to share this photo". I use the IMG link.
