Boarding the Grand Princess in Whittier

Hi all, can anyone tell me how long it will take to board our ship in Whittier as our train gets into port around 5:30pm. We are Platinum and our relatives are 1st time sailors with Princess. Can we all board together and will we be on board to dine in the Crown Grill by 8pm? Thanks

I just got off of the Coral Princess Southbound sailing last week leaving from Whittier and it takes no time to check in and board the ship. It took under 10 minutes and we came off of a train. Super easy! Nothing to stress about. If you have anymore questions I'm more than happy to answer!
