dcl Posted April 7, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2004 Has anyone gone on Radisson's 'Alaska Popular' ? Pre /Post Tour - Fairbanks, Denali, Anchorage Are the tours offered by other cruiselines basically the same? Is there one that stands out above the rest? Dreps Posted April 7, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 7, 2004 This really doesn't exactly address your question, but we are taking a Radisson Alaskan cruise in August and decided to arrange most of our excursions (before, during, and after the cruise) independently. We found the CC Alaskan board to be very useful. We'll be spending several days in the Denali area pre-cruise and several days in Vancouver post-cruise. Mailman055 Posted April 8, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 8, 2004 If you go to the Alaska forum in the Ports section of this board you will find all you will ever want to know about planning an Alaska trip. Dreps Posted April 9, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 9, 2004 Just to second the notion. The Cruise Critics (CC) Alaska board was very helpful. I have even communicated directly with Budget Queen when I had some specific questions. In fact, she commented on an initial itinerary we had planned, and her suggestions led to an improved schedule.
