pbsteve Posted July 24, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2014 is the sushi free on the breeze? I haven't yet sailed on a ship where they had the sushi bar, and the wife loves it. either way we'll end up eating there... but just want to know since we do a cash S&S. flutist14_99 Posted July 24, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 24, 2014 No, Bonsai (the sushi restaurant) has an extra charge. I believe it was a pay as you go restaurant instead of a set fee like the steakhouse or the italian restaurant. It must be pretty good, because it was always full when we passed. I don't eat sushi, but hopefully someone can give you more details.
BigRed93 Posted July 24, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 24, 2014 http://www.carnival.com/onboard/cruise-food/~/media/CCLUS/Images/pdf/BonsaiSushiMenupdf.ashx Bonsai sushi menu. Was just looking at this because I plan on trying it next month. Looks reasonable.
rwest898 Posted July 24, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 24, 2014 It was very good. Hubby and I ate there a few times during our cruise. You will enjoy. Have a good cruise:)

Breeze has Bonsai Sushi, which does charge for its food. My husband and I ate there one night. We did not like the sushi very much. Then again, having eaten sushi all over the U.S. and Canada, we are sushi snobs. :)
Cruise-Crazy Posted July 24, 2014 #6 Share Posted July 24, 2014 I ate there several times during the cruise. Pretty good sushi at least when I was there. I don't consider myself a snob though......

bar1068 Posted July 24, 2014 #8 Share Posted July 24, 2014 No sushi snobs here either, but wife and I both enjoyed what Bonsai sushi served...had Bonsai on Sunshine as well..we liked it enough to skip dinner in the MDR or Lido or the other joints a few times and Bonsai was our dinner spot....as shocking as that sounds!!!
