goofynewfymom Posted May 19, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 19, 2004 Hi Everyone! My Mom, daughter and I are taking a girls trip this summer and leaving the boys home! Does anyone know if the overhang I keep reading about extends to the cabins we have reserved? They are 9108 and 9114. Thanks for any help! parody Posted May 19, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 19, 2004 Yes, the "overhang" would apply to these cabins. You can see the floor plan for the sky deck on the Constellation at http://www.celebrity.com/deck.asp?s=C034800357&sh=CS&d=SK. At the Aft end of the ship, there would be no overhang for stateroom 9140 and higher that are even numbers and 9175 and higher that are odd numbers. goofynewfymom Posted May 20, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted May 20, 2004 Hi Parody...thanks so much for answering my question. I have mixed feelings about the overhang, but the fact that it will keep me dry if it rains is a positive one! Thanks again, Stephanie
frequenttraveler Posted May 20, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 20, 2004 I have been on ships where this is the overhang and not. I really like the overhang. It makes the room feel bigger and when we didn't have the overhang, people above were throwing their cigarette butts down on ours.
LovetheSea Posted May 21, 2004 #5 Share Posted May 21, 2004 When we were on the Millie in a Sky Suite, every morning the crew would hose down the pool deck and a whole bunch of water came streaming down on our deck. Once my husband just sat up and came in and "WOOSH", the chair he was sitting in was dowsed with water. This time we will be in 9121 on the Sky deck with the overhang. Hopefully we will be high and dry!
