Q: Le Meridian Piccadilly, London?

We are going to London 4 days early before meeting the QM2 in Southampton. We have booked at Le Meridian Piccadilly, London. Can anyone tell me there thoughts on the hotel? It looks great online and I have stayed at Le Meridian in NY with good results.

It a great hotel! I stayed there for business last winter.

 

I had a room on the top floor which was tricky to get to, but had great views of the London skyline. You had to take the elevator up to the second to last floor and then do a short flight of stairs. Also, it's a big hotel. If you have a room at either end, it's a hike.

 

The service was great and the staff were more than friendly. It really worth it for the location. Right in the middle of everything.

I stayed there several years ago for work. It is a luxurious, beautiful hotel with a great gym and pool in the basement. The location can't be beat. Lucky you!
