Anybody been on the Enchantment of the Seas, both the old and newly re-furbished and extended? I'm also considering the Jr.Suites vs. the standard balcony cabin and would like to know if anyone has stayed in the Junior suites.....sounds like the ship has made some nice improvements......

Big Al -

We sailed both old and new Enchantment - the new pool area is EXCEPTIONALLY nice! Children's fountain/pool, 2 adult pools and 4 hot tubs in same area PLUS the beautiful Solarium Adults Only pool. And it was Adults Only when we were there. Any detailed questions I would be glad to answer Treacher1@aol.com. We had inside cabin in NEW section VERY nice and spacious - we always get suites but booked this last minute cause friends were going and could only get inside - NOT disappointed. Our friends were in a JR SUITE - 2 adults and 21 year old son VERY nice - plenty of room. Go for it!' Windjammer new set up with serving stations very nice - and best waitstaff ever - waiter - asst waiter and head waiter just wonderful.

We ere in a D-1 on the "old" Enchantment last fall and will be in an owner's suite on her again this fall. Personally, it's a 50/50 shot for me between the D1 and JS. The biggest difference between the 2 cabins is the bathroom. The JS has a tub and is a bit larger. D1 has a shower only. The living space is a tad bigger in the JS, but if there are just 2 of you in the cabin, I think you will find the D1 just fine. Enjoy!
